PayungMed: Family Appointments
Who has Mak's appointment card?
One appointment calendar for the whole family.
Malaysian families juggle appointment cards for parents, siblings and children — paper cards that live in handbags and get forgotten. PayungMed turns them into one calendar the whole family can see.

How it works
- Photograph the card. PayungMed fills in what it can: the date, the department, whether fasting is required. You check it against the photo, then save. Nothing is ever saved without your confirmation.
- Reminders arrive on your phone, with the card image attached when the appointment has a photographed card. Fasting? The reminder comes the evening before, at the hour you choose.
- Share with your siblings. Everyone sees the same appointments, and knows who is taking Mak.
Made for children who look after their parents
- Every card, one calendar. Government hospital, specialist clinic or private. No card? Add it yourself.
- Who's taking Mak? Choose an escort. They get their own reminders.
- Mak and Ayah on the same day? PayungMed flags it when you can see both appointments, so you can plan early.
- Early reminders, from 3 days to 1 month ahead. Time enough to apply for leave.
- Card can't be read? Type it in. The photo of the card is kept with the appointment anyway.

Privacy
- Your appointments are stored in Malaysia.
- Card photographs and the appointment database are kept out of your phone's automatic backup, on both iPhone and Android.
- The note you write for yourself never leaves your phone at all.
- PayungMed is not connected to any hospital system.
The whole of it is in the PayungMed Privacy Policy.
Price
- The first person you add is free and stays free.
- The Family Plan is RM15 a month or RM143.90 a year, and covers up to 10 people, you included.
- Family members you invite do not pay.
Good to know
- PayungMed is for iPhone and Android, in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- One card at a time. PayungMed takes a single appointment card per share — if you select several images at once, it will not appear in the share sheet.
- Questions? See PayungMed support.
